David,
Rob Williams sent a link to your blog from a CCC community.
I have tried unsuccessfully to get a Facebook badge to work for my wordpress blog. How did you do it?
THANKS!

Sus,
Create a text widget, and put a link to your FB profile, like so, replacing your info from FB where you see my specifics (name, fbid, etc):

A link said that you created the Cheap Gas! iPhone app. This app is great. However, the Apple App Store has removed it. Any thoughts why?
Cheap Gas! was removed by me from iTunes because we needed to nail a few things down. We hope to have it back soon.
Hey David, please e-mail me, I have a question for you that I’d rather not ask in public about someone we both know.
(You went to college with him, and he used to be my manager)
Chris, I actually didn’t go to School with the person that you’re talking about, but he did use to work with my Father-in-Law many years ago… and he and I have worked for and with each other several times at different companies across the years. He’s one of the good guys.
David,
Have tried Cheap Gas 1.5 & 1.6. and neither seem to work on my iphone 3G.
I live in a town of 18,000 people and have 8 gas stations.
Cheap Gas only lists one! ZIP 55746
When I go to gasbuddy web site all stations are listed.
They hade all been updated in the last 2-3 hours.
Do have any idea whats wrong?
Please respond to email.
Thanks,
Terry
Terry,
I tried to respond via email… however, the address provided in this comment bounced.
The short answer is that the feed used on the main GasBuddy.com web site is not identical to the one provided to outside vendors (like me). I will follow up with the guys at GB and see what’s the poop. Like you, I see only 1 station listed for 55746.
David
David,
Just tracked and saw that you unfollowed me on Twitter.
Not whining, but curious so I’m writing to discover why.

Ski, Nothing personal. Twitter has me capped at 2,000 follows.
If we haven’t engaged directly recently, and I can’t remember something memorable that we’ve discussed, and there is someone new that I want to track… well, I guess the bullet just happened to have your name on it that day.
Great. More social media guilt
.
Gotta be Carl Hiassen. Elmore is great, but add in Hiassen’s humour and satire and he’s the winner.
Hey David,
Having gone through the solution for embedding image, it was like a ray of hope for a toddler like me. I would certainly try and give you the feedback about that.
I have another issue and that is that the image that I have on display is larger than the iPhone screen. I have used a scrolling view to display the larger images. Can I still capture the image that is not visible on the screen? The code that I have used is:
UIGraphicsBeginImageContext(myScrollView.contentSize);
[myScrollView.layer renderInContext:UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext()];
UIImage *viewImage = UIGraphicsGetImageFromCurrentImageContext();
UIImageWriteToSavedPhotosAlbum(viewImage, nil, nil, nil);
UIGraphicsEndImageContext();
Your feedback and guidance shall be highly appreciable.
Regards,
Saurabh Shah
How about Finding locations and prices of E-85? BTW, I love the program!
