I just submitted a bug fix for Cheap Gas! Version 2.0, Version 2.01.
The bug fix corrects a memory leak on refreshes that was causing the app to lock up erratically after a refresh.
Sorry for the inconvenience… and hopefully Apple will have this approved and out the door quickly.
Updates have been submitted this afternoon for both Cheap Gas! and Cheap Gas! Plus to the Applie iTunes App Store for approval.
Both versions have changes for improved location services and improved checking for being under Airport Mode.

An incremental release of Cheap Gas! (Version 1.9, free version) is coming soon and is now being reviewed by Apple.
This release is mostly cosmetic, with the following changes:

FINALLY! I have submitted the premium version of Cheap Gas!, Cheap Gas! Plus, to the Apple iTunes App Store for review.
The significant differences between the free version and the premium version is the ability to change prices and add stations to GasBuddy.com.
There are many people who simply want to check gas prices and don’t care about updating anything. The free version will continue to serve those users well.
For those commenters and reviewers who wanted a way to update GasBuddy.com from within the app, Cheap Gas! Plus is just the ticket.
With luck, the premium version of the app will be up and on iTunes before Christmas. If not, then it most likely will be sometime after 12/28 since the App Store Support will be closed for the holidays.
The latest (and greatest) version of Cheap Gas! (Version 1.8) is now available on the Apple iTunes App Store here.
This version allows you to see the prices of all grades (where available) and also shows the date and time stamp of when the prices were collected.
Several people have asked (loudly) when a version that allows GasBuddy.com to be updated will be available. Stay tuned…

An update to Cheap Gas! is now in iTunes App Store Review.
This version now displays timestamps for fuel prices and also has a “heads up” display for all grade prices.
Should be available later this week.
An update for the Cheap Gas! iPhone application will be dropping this week (depending upon providence and the goodwill of the Apple App Store gatekeepers) – Version 1.7.
This version will allow you to interactively search for stations by Postal Code and will also allow you to sort your results by price or by distance from where you are.

The app now uses gas station data from GasBuddy.com (Thanks, Dustin Coupal!).
Revision 1.5 should be available – soon. It is under review by Apple and I look for it to drop very soon.
